(Green Bay, WI) - In the annual reunion of advertising agencies and design shops where the best creative product of the past year is recognized by the American Advertising Federation's Addy Awards, the Green Bay design communications firm, Archetype Group, had its best showing in its ten-year history, including being handed two of the evening's top awards.

By the end of the presentation, 32 awards had been given to Archetype by AdFed's Northeastern Wisconsin Chapter. Among them , the AdFed's top print communications honor, Best of Show in Print, for Archetype's self promotion campaign titled Evolutionaries, which included an oversized brochure, poster, t-shirt, and direct mail piece. It was the second consecutive year that Archetype garnered Best of Show in Print honors.

Finally, the campaign was also critiqued as the top creative communications effort overall, receiving the Judge's Choice award.

Throughout the evening, Archetype was recognized for excellence in a wide range of design categories including: B-to-B direct marketing, disk-based sales presentation, collateral, logo, B-to-B web site, illustration, consumer direct marketing, menu, specialty advertising apparel, interior wall display, newsletter, special event invitation, four-color brochure, and self promotion via print, multi-media and web site development.

This fall, Archetype will celebrate its tenth anniversary. The firm's principals, Paul Meinke and Jim Rivett, lead a group of 16 design communications professionals in solving the marketing challenges of business-to-business and consumer brand clients via communications strategy, brand development and design of print and interactive communications.

Said Meinke, "Over time, it's been great to watch companies come to the realization that the level of strategy and creativity they thought could only be found in larger, metropolitan cites, is actually thriving in Green Bay and the Valley. We're working hard to be a leader."
