(Green Bay, WI) - The 2002 American Graphic Design Awards, sponsored by Graphic Design:usa, has recognized Green Bay-based Archetype Group with three awards for excellence in communications and graphic design.

Of roughly 10,000 entries, less than ten percent were deemed worthy of winning status as judged by a nationwide panel of nine design communications experts.

The firm's direct mail work on behalf of NEWIST, a film and video production group that produces public television programming, in addition to Archetype's brochure entitled Evolutionaries, and the firm's web site (www.archetypegroup.com), were chosen as award winners.

In its 25th year, the American Graphic Design Awards is among the most prestigious of all graphic communication competitions. Each of Archetype's winning entries will be featured in Graphic Design: USA's 150-page design annual that is distributed to 30,000 graphics industry leaders and decision makers. Graphic Design:usa is a monthly business-to-business magazine for professional graphic designers and related creative and production professionals.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary in September, Archetype Group has become known for its diverse solutions to the marketing challenges of business-to-business and consumer brand clients through brand development and design of print and interactive communications.
