GREEN BAY, WI, August 25, 2005 — Utility Communicators International (UCI), the communications and marketing organization for the utility industry, recently awarded first place to WPS Resources Corporation for its 2005 Annual Report. The 96-page report was designed by Arketype, Inc.

UCI’s Better Communications Contest is the longest-running communications contest in the country. Each year, energy companies from throughout the country compete for recognition of their communications efforts during the previous year.

Arketype’s contribution also helped WPS Resources Corporation take top honors in the overall competition, as UCI selected the Wisconsin utility company as the industry’s Communicator of the Year.
