ARKETYPE WINS FOUR PRESTIGIOUS 2005 AMERICAN GRAPHIC DESIGN AWARDS

GREEN BAY, WI, September 15, 2005 — Two billboard campaigns, a logo creation, and a unique holiday poster secured Arktype, a Green Bay advertising and design firm, four awards for excellence in the 2005 American Graphic Design Awards.    

Three of Arketype’s winning entries represent design work created to further the marketing efforts of local businesses. They include a “Shocking” billboard campaign for Mayflower Greenhouse, a “Celebration” billboard campaign for fete, and a logo makeover for Chameleon Salon and Spa. The final award was presented to Arketype for its own holiday poster.

The 2005 American Graphic Design Award competition, sponsored by GD:USA magazine, invited almost 11,000 U.S.-based advertising agencies, graphic design firms, and corporate in-house creative departments to submit entries. The competition is widely considered to be one of the design community’s most esteemed. Only the top 10 percent of 2005 entries received honors. All winning entries will be featured in the magazine’s December issue.
